Truth claims: all claims, no truth

 

Romans 1:21 [21]For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

There is a massive rejection of the Word of Truth. Instead na magpasakop sa katotohanan ng Biblia, mas pinipili ng taong lumakad sa sarili niyang kaisipan. 

Ang hindi niya alam, ang sariling kaisipan ay hindi niya sarili kundi kaisipang sinuksok ng kaaway:

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 [3]And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, [4]in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

This is especially obvious in our generation where rejection of the concept of truth is rejected. Instead of relying on truth, people depend on their feelings. They have swallowed the lie that they can determine what is true, Romans 1:25a. They made themselves the measure of what is true and what isn't. Their experience, their beliefs, their values are placed on top of Biblical truth. 

Romans 1 record the sad deterioration and perversion of man. That which is true is exchanged for opinions. Their thoughts are captive of the world's thinking. 

The world are making truth claims which are just claims but without truth. 

We can see this rejection of truth in refusal to study and research the evidence. The evidence that is as old as creation, Rom 1:20, is rejected in favor of the newer lies man superimposed on reality. 

Relativism, modernism, postmodernism, and many others "-isms" are all expressions of rejection of the truth of God and the embrace of lies. 

We can see this in the attack on sexes. The ancient (it starts in Gen 1:26) truth on biblical manhood and biblical womanhood in rejected. Masculinity and male leadership, patterned after God's Fatherhood, are rejected and feminism (rejecting the natural order, 1 Cor 11, extolled. Transgenderism (the idea that God made a mistake in putting women on male bodies and vice versa) is pushed as truth. 

The divine institutions of volition, marriage, family and nationalism are under attack. Men are denied the right to decide for himself in favor of Big Brother dictating what is true and what isn't. Marriage is being redefined as anything other than between a male and a female. Family is under attack with various family substitutes. Nationalism is under attack with globalism. Artificial structures based on critical theories are established. Individual acts of violence and sins are generalized to pit one group of people against another. Individual male violence is used to justify anti-masculine toxicity. Violence by individuals are used to justify categorizing all groups as oppressor. Individual attacks against homosexuals are used as justification to give validation to rejection of Biblical standards on sex. Ironically, in an artificial oppressor-oppressed structures, the so-called oppressed have more protection than the "oppressors."

Everyone just walk based on feelings. The Me movement is on the rise. It is me, me, me. Even if there is absence of evidence, something is true because it validates the "me." The particular experiences of the me is made a general principle. 

We should reject all of these thinking patterns and return to the ancient truths established at Creation. Genesis established what constitutes truth. God created the world so He determined what is true and what is not. It is not man who determines what is truth. 

Save yourself from this evil generation. It is true of the Jews of 1st century AD. It is just as true of our present evil time.
