We worry too much

On a daily basis, we take risks. We ride buses driven by people we do not know. Or eat food sold by someone we don't know. Or but stuffs from people we don't know.

How sure are we that the bus driver isn't suicidal or a terrorist? Or the food vendor doesn't put poison on your food? Or the vendor you buy your stuffs from isn't selling stolen items or defective items?

We trust many people because we cannot operate without a level of trust and faith.

Many times we put our lives in the hands of someone else. How sure are you your barber won't slit your throat?

And yet we struggle trusting God. God gave everything including the air we breath and the ability to string together letters to express our ideas.

Our whole life, God has been faithful and gracious. Yet we struggle to give Him the same trust we give fallen people.

God so loved us that He gave His only begotten Son to die for us. He removed the sin barrier and no man will go to Hell because of sins. Jesus took the barrier of sin away. He died as a propitiation for it.

And to make it easier for man to benefit from that gracious provision, eternal life is offered to everyone on the basis of faith alone in Christ alone.

Everyone can believe so no man can rightly say I didn't have eternal life because God made it impossible for me to have. He did all the work. All you need to do is believe in Jesus.

If you can believe in Jesus for eternal life, how come you can't believe Him for our temporal life? God gave His Son, how can He not gave us all things which do not require giving up His Son?

Again, it is illogical for us to trust man but not God when God gave everything, even His own Son for us.

Let us learn to trust God. We can do that if we grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Then life will be an adventure of faith and grace.
